YTA. When you wanna date someone it should be with clear intentions not tricks like this. What if you end up liking him, get into a relationship with him and then tell him about your initial intention here? He’s gonna think you only wanted free food instead of getting to know him. Most ppl don’t appreciate users like you. You wanna go ahead and do that to get free food fine but don’t be surprised when it costs you his respect for you later when he finds out.

Yeah that’s like scamming for a free meal. He should offer to pay regardless but using ur bday as an excuse is a bit unfair
