My coworkers keep stealing my pens, so I found these ones at Target that are white but still have black ink in them. Now everyone’s mad I have “supplies they can’t use”😭

I’m confused, how does a white pen prevent them from using it?

All of the pens at my job are colored based on the ink inside. Black ink pens are black, red ink pens are red, etc. Since these are white, my coworkers thinks that the ink inside is white which obviously wouldn’t show up on paper.

Lowkey why would anyone think that white pens have white ink? Why would that be a thing

Yes but the photo clearly shows they aren’t gel pens, and typical la gel pen you can see the ink inside anyway.

Then why use that other photo using the pen typically associated with the term “gel pens” as opposed to the pilot g2 which uses a gel based ink because they give a smoother writing style? Is it because you can’t find a G2 with white ink?

Closest I’ve found so far is silver in a pilot G2 but the clicker indicates the color

Bruh I already conceded you were right that they were gel pens, just not in the way I was talking about. I was saying the pic you posted is gel pens meant for artworks, not for office use. OP clearly works in an office and I can’t understand how anybody thinks this man is using white ink pens for his duties

He bought white pens bc most people would assume they have white ink, since the color of the shell tends to indicate the ink color. And most people know white gel pens exist. So they’d assume totally white shell pens would be white ink too. Since that’s what white gel pens tend to look like.

Even tried helping to emphasize YOUR point by finding a white ink G2 but only found silver and you come back to insult me. I wish you well in your future endeavors.

Alright so dude… I can not explain the lack of common sense my coworkers have. I just saw the trick online and figured I’d give it a go. Idk WHY it worked, but it DID.

Like I said to the other guy, I do not know why they would think that and I honestly just tried it out of frustration. I really wasn’t expecting them to actually believe there’s white ink inside, but they do and I’m not correcting them if it means I can keep my shit to myself 🤷‍♀️
