I found out my ex of 3 years was cheating on me (I got the hey girly text and was sent proof) so I sent him all the screenshots and blocked him. He has literally emailed me pleading for forgiveness and has made burner accounts to contact me. He’s had friends reach out to me (who I blocked as well). He didn’t deserve to see my tears or my anger cause tbh if they were willing to cheat they never cared. I’m glad I handled it the way I did

The way I see it: leaving without saying anything or doing anything makes them react even worse. It’s almost like they want the confrontation when you find out so not giving it to them and moving on and finding someone better leaves the cheater even worse than before.
