Note doesnt even need to be passive aggressive, just be genuine but do communicate with the neighbors first! Just a simple note under the door that says 'hey, love that youre vibing but you have woken me up a couple times now, please try to mind the noise between x-x from your neighbor'

As a RA, I agree with the note. They may be unaware of how sound travels, especially if you are in a freshman only building. If they continue to be noisy contact a RA.

I agree with this. Most ppl will say “ ohh we didn’t know they could hear us. The neighbors didn’t say anything!” I would make a note of when you deliver the note and see if there’s any change.

My upstairs neighbors were always super loud last year. I started banging my water bottle on the ceiling when they were annoying. It stopped them pretty quick
