You didn’t ask to stay friends you said “I still want to talk to you”. That’s a little weird and awkward. It seems like you liked her and only want to talk to her to date. Next time try saying it was great to meet you though and I hope we can stay friends.

I interpreted as friendly especially if op says he’s gay. She must have a communication problem if she just blocks someone
