It’s just so annoying because it’s so hard to teach when I have to also babysit a toddler. She can’t do what the other kids do and I have to sit with her to make sure she doesn’t eat a crayon or run out of the room or eat hand sanitizer. I’ll be teaching a group of kids and have to get up and chase her, leaving the kids who are trying to learn bc she just decided she didn’t want to do work and wanted to play instead
little bit of cultural context here cause you mentioned they're from india (i'm indian), back in the 60s-80s, india didn't have a proper validation system for birthdates and parents could choose what birthdate to put on their child's birth certificate, so parents would lie abt the year and say their kid was a few years older to get them ahead in school. it's outdated now that they have proper systems. but if the family was from a less modern area that could explain it
That’s why I mentioned them being from India. It’s unfortunate though because she’s not getting ahead and the other kids have to deal with her always screaming, ripping toys out of their hands, she’s always getting in their space and being too rough with them. Not even our three year olds behave like that
