i am bringing a guy to my date party instead of my friend who i originally invited because i just started seeing this guy and he’s about to graduate and we are about to go long distance. my friend is upset with me but i dont have much time left with him

I mean it’s understandable that the friend is upset if you invited and then uninvited them

You did invite them first but at the same time as a your friend they should understand your reason as it is just a date party and there is more in the future you could bring them to

Maybe your friend was hoping if would actually be a date and that’s why they’re taking it so hard? Give them space then have a real conversation and listen to their feelings:)

ik i feel horrible cause it’s not something that i would normally do. it’s only that he’s leaving and i want to spend as much time with him as i can
