nta!! chewing out a service person is not warranted over a simple true mistake. as someone who serves, thank you for making it right!

Quickly got it fixed for me. My mom ended up only giving him about a 10% tip so as we left, I found him and gave him $25 and apologized for her behavior. I guess my mom saw that and got upset at me. I feel like what I did was right though. And even if the waiter had written down the wrong sauce, mistakes happen on a busy Saturday night. No one should get yelled at like that.
