i dont think youre the asshole. its hard for people to admit online but its clear that theres a lot of people who have a fetish for gay men like you can tell the difference between being an ally and supporting queer couples and then theres the people who are weirdly obsessed with it. i had a friend who developed a huge crush on her gay male friend and wouldnt leave him alone and even forced him to go to prom with her its so weird to watch

It’s just making me uncomfortable. I’m bi, so I love everyone getting representation in media. But she’s a straight woman and ONLY ships male characters and such… never other women. It’s so weird to me how obsessive she is over it, like we’ve crossed the line between ally and creepy
