Friends and I booked an Airbnb for bday out of state and friend canceled the day before. She said it wasn’t fair for her to pay her half since she got sick but she hung out with her friends the day after. Am I the wrong for still sending $50 Venmo request

If you wouldn’t be able to get the money back from Airbnb then yeah she’s responsible. These things happen but that doesn’t mean you can cancel things for free the day before

We booked it a week out so it was non refundable 😅 luckily she paid reluctantly and told us if we were in the same situation she would have paid for us too…no she wouldn’t and that’s a fact 😬
