Ok clearly you don’t understand gas prices. Cities vs rural are often a huge difference to energy regulation. Example Los Angeles gas prices to somewhere in Oklahoma in the middle of no where. In red states they can lower prices easily by removing taxes that arl arent applicable or the governor can make that decisions. You rarely see that in a blue state because of high regulation on energy and oil. Not a fan of trump but this is a reality

The reason the price is up is because the cost of crude oil is up. This is impacting everyone but has a higher level of economic impact in a state with high regulation (usually blue states)

same!! it was regularly between $2.49 and $2.79 where I live for monthssss before all of this, but I saw it go up to $2.89, then $3.29, then $3.59, today I just paid $3.89/gal for REGULAR 😭 and i’m all of a sudden getting 30mpg when I used to get like 32???
