AITA for college my parents immigrants (obviously they are). The context was explaining why students at my school have so much more experience and i was explaining that it is because im first gen. They got extremely mad even tho i said it neutrally
absolutely not. if your parents cant see a viewpoint from you, someone who has lived in a culture in a culture more than then, and cant accept you explaining it to them then thats called narcissism.

My mom may be an enabler. My dad was screaming still through the house after i left. She coddled him, as always. He may be a narcissist tbh. Its a long story but he is like this a LOT and if i accidentally upset him everyone is affected

My mom was calling me and begging me to apologize to him. Usually he never is the one to apologize and I am left to clean up a mess he made. Hes pretty demanding, and has a lot of addictive characteristics

you have to be the one to put the foot down and tell your mom you wont do it. you cant be responsible for your parents’ relationship!
