It must be so hard so have such intense dietary restrictions. I don’t think you’re in the wrong for not wanting to share, otherwise how will you eat without risking illness or worse?

Lowkey it sounds like this behavior has been happening your whole life. I would move in with your dad if this is such an issue and they refuse to adjust at all to accommodate your needs. But I don’t understand what the asshole part is like where the question comes into play? He’s an asshole for taking your food knowing you have extreme dietary restrictions but this seems more like a rant than an AITA

thats an asshole move even completely ignoring dietary restrictions, why wouldn’t he just eat his own pizza?? Id tell him off politely in a way that they can’t easily construe as “getting mad”. More specifically, I would recommend telling them to ask you permission in the future, since that’ll probably be taken better than “no touchy” and if they do it again you can ask why they didn’t ask you

While it’s annoying, it doesn’t seem like they are aware of how upset it makes you. Maybe label your meals and make sure they know that your stuff is off limits. It doesn’t appear that they’re taking your diet restrictions very seriously. Your mom is ordering seafood dishes when she knows you’re allergic?? Who does that? 😳

1. Honestly, if it has been going on this long, I completely forgot or just didn’t notice it until I got older and a lot of these restrictions started becoming more noticeable (ex; we didn’t know I had a gluten intolerance until a couple weeks ago) 2. So my dad is not the most reliable person, which is the only reason why I haven’t moved in with him again, but he is very respectful of my dietary restrictions otherwise 3. Thankfully, I work at a restaurant and often get free food (that fit—

—my dietary restrictions) so this usually isn’t a massive issue unless it’s a day off 4. I go to college and will be moving back into my dorm in August, thankfully 5. Most of the question comes into play in the Pt. 3 comment, the rest is mainly context so that I don’t have people constantly asking “Did you do [x]”, “Well, did you do [x]”, “If you did [x] this wouldn’t happen”, just so that everything is clear! I do get the misunderstanding tho

1. They are aware, they just make a point to make sure I know that they think I’m being dramatic or extra 2. I do label my stuff, put it in separate containers, and making sure my food looks very visually different so that it can’t be mistaken and it doesn’t change 3. They don’t take it seriously, they’re still in denial of some of it being real

Buy yourself a mini fridge to keep in your room and keep your food in it

Laxatives and constipating drugs in your food you specifically told them not to touch with your name on it would make sure they don’t do it again

yea and so hypocritical. you can have your own food but it’s a problem if OP does… like huh? they’re just inconsiderate. further more i don’t agree with the faking things off someone else’s plate if you’re eating things they’re allergic to. you’re contaminating the food that they can eat which is hardly anything to begin with.
