I was talking with a friend last night and he made a pretty transphobic comment to me. Idk what his intentions were but it made me feel real gross. I was super high and didn't want to be impulsive while confronting him so I waited until the morning-

no, if you know you’re impulsive when you’re intoxicated, waiting was probably the best thing to do in this situation

To talk to him about it. He was super confused at first and asked why I waited until the next day to say something. I was honest and said that I wanted to be sober for this talk instead of possibly being impulsive and saying the wrong thing (cause I can't articulate for shit when I'm high). Since then he hasn't responded and I'm wondering if waiting was a bad choice on my end.

Nta. Waiting till sober for serious convos is always the best in my opinion.

Lmfao he’s a man. Why is he hiding as opposed to taking accountability for his words. His failure to address the problem with honesty and integrity is shameful.

Not a bad choice in your end o think it’s mature to have the convo sober esp so you don’t say sm you’ll regret while high. And you did tell him the morning after not like you waited weeks. Honestly I think he’d have the same reaction if you told him twelve hours earlier
