Did that when I was bitched at for taking out the trash (did it when we closed in 30 min), got my current job that pays $5 more. Never looked back.

I mean we all NEED the money, but when you already have a job, it sends a message that they need you, more than you need them. Also, it shows that you are a catch. Kind of like people already in relationships might seem more attractive than those who are single, but that’s a whole other conversation
