The guy pulled up in his car and was asking directions. And they were easy directions. It was just to take a right right here and drive straight for about 2 miles, and then take another right at the main intersection and it’ll be right there on his left. But he said yeah take a right here, and then when you go down turn on “this street”. (He had like a pause and tried to keep talking to hide his smile as he said) then take a left, go a bit farther and take another left.
I am being 100% legit. It blew my mind. I’ve given old folks directions multiple times because I’m usually wearing a shirt that has my job logo on it. (I work for my county) so I believe it makes me more approachable to them asking for directions. And I was with my friend heading into McDonalds after I had gotten off work a little while earlier and that’s when it happened.
You’re right, I shouldn’t have hit him. But like this guy looked like he was 80+ asking directions to get to a doctors appointment, and I thought about someone doing the same to my grandpa who I know has a struggle with gps and getting to places sometimes. And I agree I got a little to mad but like come on.
