Gf’s been sick for almost a month, we’ve had to cancel Valentine’s Day plans and other things. And I tried asking her out assuming she was doing better only to cancel AITA for feeling a little pissed by this? Like I feel shitty but 30+ days is a lot..

Is she really sick? If shes sick for 30days that’s very concerning and maybe she needs a hospital, but also this could be an avoidant excuse… so like idk there isn’t enough information I don’t think.

Ask her what her symptoms are. Because ain’t no way she’s sick enough to not do anything for 30 days straight. Sorry to say this man but she’s probs avoiding you or something cus 30+ days is a lotttt

as someone who has experienced being sick for a month straight many times before (weak immune system) I tend to socially isolate when I’m sick and generally communicate a bit less with my friends and partner. I make sure to let him know why and make attempts to catch up on his messages and give him status updates at every opportunity. If she’s not at least attempting to communicate there’s an issue. You have every right to feel frustrated, but remember being sick is out of her control.

I have chronic illnesses and I 100% have had months at a time where I cannot do much. I had good hours or periods, but full days are rare. My husband even still gets frustrated but understands. This girl however- how long yall been together, how well u know her, does she have chronic illnesses, what is the “sickness”/symptoms and the context around canceling ?
