Am I wrong for being upset? Parents didn’t get me anything for the holidays but are taking my two foster siblings on vacation without me( I’ve never been on a trip with my parents)

I see this two ways. Your parents want to give your foster siblings a great experience and they think that includes taking them somewhere. But I can also definitely see where this could really harm your bond. Are you going to be back at school during the trip? Is there other reasons there going? Is there more context?

Damn it’s okay to be upset tbh I visited my dad and I got nothing for Christmas… felt left out bc of my stepmom and half siblings but if it’s good 😢

I’m so late sorry yall but CONTEXT: I have two bio siblings and we got gifts growing up but about 7 or 8 years ago it stopped. Not because of money or anything we just never got a reason genuinely. Maybe because we were in a better living situation? Not sure, but anyway, now for the past three years our Christmas morning is getting to sit and watch our foster siblings open their gifts and then go back into our rooms. I try to be happy for them but i definitely resent my parents and they know

CONT…On the vacations, we have never been on a family vacation together. The day before leaving I was told they were going on a trip and the next morning they left. Just felt pretty fucked up fr. I sound like the worst person ever but I really wish we never got these foster children. I miss my family.
