This was an opportunity to prove that you’re worth more to him than his social hang ups and he repeatedly didn’t take it. I don’t know how old either of you are but that’s pretty childish

He’s allowed to dislike it but the way he’s making it obvious is kinda rude. And he’s acting like it’s some sort of sin. I’d figure out what his problem with drag is if i were you

Just because he “wants to be supportive” does not mean that he IS BEING SUPPORTIVE.

People are allowed to like and dislike stuff. It doesn’t always have to mean something terrible. Have you asked him why he doesn’t feel positively toward it?

Yeah, it was just a matter of him thinking the way drag performers dress/present themselves is too much and that he feels the whole concept is just too ridiculous

I don’t know if the ages help at all, but he just turned 22 a couple of months ago and I’m 19 but about to turn 20 in a couple of months

EXTRA UPDATE ON THAT so he’s liked every single post I’ve made on Instagram since we’ve been together (and I post a LOT) and the drag post was the ONLY ONE he didn’t like. So, I may be petty for this, but, I decided that I’m not sending him the video of the drag show if I decide to go through with it (cs this whole incident killed my confidence on it tbh). If he asks why, I’m telling him straight to his face that it’s because he’s made me feel unsupported on this on so many fronts.
