Definitely not inappropriate. My mom used to sing “shots” so I would be hyped to take my meds as a kid

how is that inappropriate, unless you’re in public or something? Is she just the type to freak if she found out you drank alcohol?

At most 6 doses a day. I really only need it for about 4-7 days straight but by the end I'm maybe only taking the nighttime stuff.
