Am I wrong for believing that most of the violence we’ve seen in recent protests comes from anarchists taking advantage of the situations? The main examples I can think of right now are the current LA protests, BLM protests, and to a certain extent Jan 6

I feel like the people who actually want change show up and behave peacefully for the most part but then there’s people who ruin it for everyone else by doing stupid stuff like setting things on fire

Black lives matter and LA protests have been peaceful but the huge cop involvement makes it violent. The January 6 COUP (not protest) was violent because Trump ordered his minions to be violent and do treason 🙃. Hope this helps!

No that doesn’t help anyone because it’s completely backwards and frankly a blatant lie. Rioters burning cars, looting stores, and throwing shit at random people and cops isn’t peaceful, and it’s stupid you would even suggest that. Trump told all of the protestors on Jan 6th “Stand down and stand by”. Those were the actual words he used and posted to twitter if you would like to look for yourself. No orders of violence or treason, quite the opposite actually.

What a stupid response. Any reasonable person no matter their affiliation can realize that throwing bricks, fireworks, and molotovs at people is the opposite of peaceful.
