No! I love (love!) adults who have the maturity to simply communicate issues instead of immediately reporting someone to authorities or being petty. Props to you!!!

Not the TA, they might not even realize that they walk loudly and/or that it wakes you up. It’s good to let them know sooner so that you don’t build up petty resentment over it
