are you allowed to be concerned, should be the better title. peoples priorities and morals change, as well as their wants/needs. it may be a little bit disappointing because of the change but no, you should not be like mad at her?

Ask if she’s genuinely okay first

i feel like i can understand both sides like yes it is her room as well and she has the right to be there whenever she wants but also like if ur under the impression she was gonna be out a lot so u could have ur own time and space that’s also understandable. i also think it’s worth just checking in and seeing how she’s doing mentally cuz i know when im upset i tend to isolate.

No. That’s how my roommate is and it sucks because I feel like the asshole when I bring my bf over and she never leaves her bed and never goes to class

people who say its her room too have not lived w a roommate like this. i lived like this all of last semester and like yeah you guys share a space but its still important to give each other the room sometimes.

i know she’s slightly upset bc of relationship issues but she said the other “i know i can go out but i just like staying in here and doing nothing.”

i’d be okay with her morals or priorities changing if she had other stuff to fill her time and leave the dorm. she leaves for class and that’s about all. on the weekends she always here and it’s hard to have people over or have just tim to my self

i totally understand that part of it. i was out a lot too freshman year and it worked for me and my roommate, and then stuff happened and i got depressed and barely ever left, only for class. im not saying thats the case here, but maybe be a little more compassionate. some people are homebodies. some people are more introverted and need a safe space
