AITA for breaking up with my bf because he REFUSES to buy me menstrual products when he gets the groceries because he doesn’t want to seem “gay”? It’s happened 3+ times now, and I just got fed up and ended things. He said I’m overreacting.

i feel like in a vacuum it’s not ideal to break up over just that, however if it’s ontop of other things it makes total sense. More than anything i think stuff like that should be warning signs to broader problems and should be talking points. If the person can’t move on from it or at least can admit how it may relate to other aspects of a relationship (taking care of your partner or being comfortable with her issues) then yeh break up. On average tho id say only childish dudes are like that

Maybe understand that the joke your man made has been commonly said by men who expect sex but never want to learn basic understandings on how what they want to stick their dick in works. That's how they view it, something to have sex with, so they don't care to learn basic anatomy and common sense with it.
