^ I’d ask for half at least but was gonna say it does depend, collectible money might already been reserved (idk how his finances work obvi). I don’t think you’re entitled to tell him where the money comes from but entitled to tell him by what date he must deliver his share to you by. Just out of respect for you and your finances

do it’s not out of desperation, for context his dad passed 5 years ago and they’re finally getting rid of a lot of stuff what he was trying to sell anyway before he passed. he’s 19 i’m 20 he doesn’t have very much in the way of bills

he’s selling them because they were his dads and they’re finally clearing out his stuff as he passed 5 years ago, his dad was selling a lot of this stuff before he got sick. the man was a bit of an enthusiast so there’s like rare pieces which is why he made so much money
