NTA, sounds like you’ve put in the hard work and reaped the benefits of it. It’s not ur fault they didn’t manage their finances well. And putting it on you to pay for the house? Oh hell no. I understand your empathy for them especially since you’ve been in a similar position yourself, but I would say don’t agree to pay for their living, maybe offer to help in other ways that don’t hurt your finances so drastically. You deserve ur hard earned money and to reach your future goals!

What you could do is get a rental situation and charge them for rent and maybe a lower amount

They want me to buy/rent the house. A 3br in LA. It would be about 75% of my whole monthly income. Don’t think I’ll have money for my kids when I want em.

NTA family is family but what theyre asking is financial abuse, they wanna use you, true colors can be hard to acknowledge but personally Id step back from all of these people
