
Im sure it’s not intended as malicious, most teasing is really lighthearted. You see “who is this diva?? 😂” commented over and over again on a post of some random frat guy dancing, or when a guy does the slightest feminine thing to point it out and exaggerate it… Femininity isnt inferior, but we still treat feminine men as a caricature compared to masculine men. There’s no issue with saying it, it’s just after a while, you start to notice a pattern… 👀
it’s probably the “are you laughing at me or with me” situation. Ive heard “who is this diva” from people who are clearly trying to make a joke. It can come down to how you interpret it but the facts are society does have that history of teasing men for being feminine. Maybe if you look at the overall trend of how the phrase is used on men, and not one-off moments, you would see that in some way, we are both right
