Somewhere on this app an 18-year-old is arguing with a 40-year-old and neither of them know it and it’s one of the reasons this app is both beautiful and cursed at the same time

I’m 50 and I love this app! Reading what college students talk about on here makes me think of my college days - which were seriously some of the best years of my life - but also helps me understand how college students view the world these days. BTW…30 and 40 used to loom in the distance for me like black holes of despair. Then I realized that watching my own kids grow into (somewhat) respectable young adults has its own merits. Time flies…enjoy every day!!

YikYak has been around on and off since 2015 so even though it’s mostly college students a lot of other people aren’t

yea but this app isn’t considered like a classy college fun get together, it’s where people post racist dumb comments and drinking and hooking up and dumb 18-20’s year old stuff that i feel like if your still interested in engaging w the app and those comments at 40 u lowk just gotta let that go
