If someone I at one time had feelings for hooked up with my best friend.. I would be devastated. Since the friend asked you to drinks I feel like it’s not entirely your fault, especially if the girl knew you had plans with her best friend. Although, I think that situation was just leading for disaster tbh

seems like she was trying really hard to please both of you and it ended up in a situation where she was bound to be hurt. you need to have an open discussion and try to work through it

Anyways over Christmas break New Year’s Eve we were both drunk and kissed once bc ww didn’t had anyone else there and we never spoke abt it again really. We became good friends and hung out often each talking abt our individual dating lives etc. very good and platonic

Fast forward a couple months and she introduces me to her best friend of 10 years. We meet once. A few weeks later best friend texts me and asks me to go for drinks. My friend knows this is happening. So we go out for drinks one thing leads to another and I end up hooking up with best friend. Now my friend is mad at me and saying it’s a slap in the face for me to hook up with her best friend after meeting once.
