In unit washer/dryer unit, though since move in this unit has been having issues, particularly the dryer end and apparently even issues starting to the point other people in the apartment called maintenance about it. This last Sunday I was using the washing unit as usual when upon completing the wash cycle the washer was completely flooded. Sounds like it was just two malfunctioning units that fried possibly due to wear and tear, I wouldn’t say you’re at fault for that.

Told the other two people currently in the apartment about the issues. It was then I was immediately accused of purposefully running the washer on soak. Several times at that in spite of me telling the others the specific settings I ran the washer on, whatever. I called matience about the issue and started to run the dryer because my clothing was very wet and needed to be dried.

This is where the dryer units issues began showing their ugly face. The dryer had always been extremely slow to dry clothing, even when on high heat. And so the dryer needed dozens of runs to actually dry my extremely wet clothing. And so I had to run the dryer late into the night, eventually giving up at 12 am as I needed to sleep for my early classes. It was this morning when I woke up to a note saying that I needed to stop running the dryer and that we didn’t need both a broken washer (cont)

And dryer. I was told that I would need to air dry my clothing from then on, with the issue being that there’s no real means to air dry my clothes and I ended up having to create a entire setup in my bedroom to somewhat dry my clothes all the while dealing with the issue of them now smelling. I don’t know if I’m just overreacting but this entire situation has felt extremely alienating and it feels like I’m now walking on eggshells with my roomates to not upset me and having to single handedly

Fix the entire unit. With them constantly questioning me about the unit and maitences status. I’m not sure what to do and this is honestly stressing me out more than it should.
