It sounds like she’s using it as a way to spy on you. If it’s a one room dorm I’d say you just don’t like it and feel like it’s spying/watching u. Worst case she thinks ur crazy and doesn’t/does take it down, best case she understands ur concern

I told her I was uncomfortable with it in our room and she threw and fit and refused to get rid of it so I got multiple ra’s involved. They are checking the device tomorrow and we are no longer friends, since she lied about it not having a camera.

Final update: An ra finally came to check the camera and she claimed to throw it away and then tried to report me for two other things that I am allowed to have in the dorm and she threw a fit when the ra said they were allowed in the room. Hope she moves out!
