Nta, you are going out with your girl for her birthday. Maybe try and have a talk being like hey I get it kinda makes you uncomfortable but what can we do to make it better while still allowing me to go. Do you need to check in every so often? Is he only okay for a certain amount of time? Sometimes we don’t get why ppl are uncomfortable and it’s best to ask them why and have an adult convo about it not just him being like “I don’t want you to go” and you being like “but it’s not that deep” yk?

He needs to get a grip. Isolating a partner is not cool. Sounds like he’s convinced you will cheat. Lowkey flattering like, oh ok you think I’m so hot that I will have to physically fend off men when I’m with my girl? Get offended he thinks you’d cheat.
