Not the asshole and yes you should. That’s your property and if she can’t respect it then she loses the right to use it

Let’s not promote violence as a FIRST option. Technically, the roommate is stealing your items and you have every right to have it brought back to you or paid for. I recommend having a talk with them, saying “I’m not comfortable with you taking my times outside of the dorm (or apt) and I’d like for them to be returned asap.”

(2/2) If you live in a dorm or school apt, let your RA or Resident staff know the satiation. If you live in an apartment, and she refused to return or pay for the items, file a police report for theft. I hope this helps and that you take action.
