Ok guys am I in the wrong for being upset about this situation. I am upset with my boyfriend of 4 years because he asked me to make a pie for his firehouse thanksgiving. I told him I’ll make an apple and pumpkin pie. He got 2 pies from his grandma today.

Definitely a violation-- to ask you to bake and then tell you that other people's would be better, if I understand correctly? That's definitely a conversation of "Why do you think that's ok" and then when he answers, if your values don't align it's about splitting if he can't see how absolutely inconsiderate that was to do. He knows what it means to you and still did this? Don't let someone walk all over you like that. You seem very caring and I think you deserve better. Best of luck, stay up 🫶

Rest of the story here: I had already told him I bought the stuff for his thanksgiving. He was only supposed to get one pie. Then went to tell everyone he’d pies would be better than mine. I really an upset because I find value in cooking for people but now I feel like it’s not appreciated and I’m just so upset. Baking is my favorite thing to do but I feel like he doesn’t actually like anything I make and it all goes to waste. What should I do?
