I might need to tell my manager about my coworker. I told him I’m an atheist and he couldn’t fathom that and keeps pressing me about how God is real. I tell him that’s he can believe what he wants and that I have my own beliefs. WIBTA getting a manager?

No, not at all the asshole. You should absolutely tell your manager. That’s fucked up and inappropriate for them to be acting that way, especially when you’re being respectful of their religion.

as a Christian, it’s encouraged in our faith to spread the gospel however, the way I interpret this is that it’s really only if the person comes to you and asks you questions and wants to learn if they state that that’s not something they believe in it’s truly wrong to push them to believe. he’s crossing a major boundary that in unacceptable especially in a workplace

He just told me “God is real. Get to know him before you meet him”. I’m telling a manager once he leaves tn.

Dude’s a nice guy and I don’t want to get him in trouble but should I at least give my manager a heads up?

So he asked me first. I said i was an atheist. He then kept asking me and at first I thought it was funny that he couldn’t fathom it. But then he kept telling me God is real throughout the night.

yk you’re one of the first Christian people I’ve seen word it like this and I really appreciate it. so many Christians at my school don’t understand when they are forcing their religion down others throat and use this as an excuse but leave out the part that someone is supposed to be asking the questions first and show an interest in the religion.

i’ll always love my faith but it hurts to see ppl behave this way and use it an an excuse advocacy for all beliefs is a big part of my personal beliefs/morals because at the end of the day it’s a choice and should never be forced upon anyone
