ignoring this guy that’s apart of a club i’m in who wants to be my friend bc I found out he hangouts with my stalker I don’t wanna tell him why I can’t hang because it’s risky telling him but it feels rude to ignore him

i fear snubbing him with no explanation may lead to him thinking poorly of you and potentially spreading the idea around that you’re a cold antisocial asshole, but instead of blatantly telling this guy your business with your stalker, would a simple “i’ve had a lot of problems with X in the past and i will not hang out with you if you continue to be friends with X” work instead? vague but getting the point across that the stalker is the problem and not him

i’d also just keep a weapon on me at all times for if i’d run back into the stalker and go ham on them to leave me alone but i’ve never personally been stalked so that might be very wishful thinking lmao
