We can make all the bills we want but the fact of the matter is, a lot of these people in the files are past the point of conviction bc the statute of limitations has expired (I *think* this only applies for federal law?) But if state laws are different, then put every single person affiliated with Epstein behind bars. Our problem, tho, is that all 50 states have their own politicians too. They’re all guilty but we’ll never get through all the bureaucracy…

unfortunately, as president he has (mostly self imposed) protection, and also he has so much blackmail against so many ppl in the justice system and legislative branch that they’re too scared to actually do shit. it’s so fucked up and nauseating that we have a bunch of criminals running the country

We gotta start somewhere. Even if this legislation doesn’t pass, it will severely hurt the voting record of the people who vote against it ahead of the midterms

yep everyone that has the power to actually do something is in the files. not to mention the TERABYTE of data they have not released that 100% could cause the entire government to be basically overthrown

unfortunately they also control the votes 😭 lots of schemes going on rn to manipulate and control who’s in power. but i agree there needs to be at least an effort against this

not necessarily- presidents don’t necessarily enjoy immunity for completely personal acts with no relation to the presidency, though the case law is a little messy following the jan 6 trial

On paper, you’re correct. But their point is that the supreme court is just going to bail Trump out like they usually do.

Exactly. “Rep. X voted against letting our state prosecute PEDOPHILES. Do YOU want them in office? Vote Y!”
