she ALWAYS pays me back short. the vape plus tax comes out to $24-25 but she just gives me a $20 bill as repayment. and yes every time i do tell her the total and give her the receipt, but she still only gives me $20 after i give her the vape. like ik it’s only $4-5, but that’s a gallon of gas nowadays 😭 it also just seems really rude to me that she always pays me back short when i’m doing a favor for her. am i wrong for not wanting to get her vapes anymore?

Sounds to me like the issue isn’t her age/inability to buy vapes herself, it’s that she can’t afford them. I’d tell her you’ll only get her a vape if she gives you $30 up front and you’ll give her the change with the product.

When I was below the age of 21 and needed my friends to get me a vape I would always pay them the exact amount that the vape costs and add an extra $5 for the inconvenience of them having to go out of their way to stop at a shop. You’re way too nice cause it adds up quick and I would definitely ask for payment up front.

make an invoice for all the money she’s been short and give it to her next time she asks n don’t get her any more until she pays that back and in the future if you continue buying her stuff make sure she gives you the full total before you give it to her and if it’s only 20 she doesn’t have enough to buy it 🤷‍♀️ with gas prices nowadays i would also add a little bit for gas money and boot fee since you’re going out of your way to stop for her
