So my friend hasn’t talked to anyone all summer and whenever we celebrate someone’s birthday they always back out last minute with a bad an excuse or just not show up. My other friends and I did a birthday bar hop and they’re upset we didn’t invite…AITA

I’m not saying you’re wrong bc if they are constantly flaking then yeah definitely stop inviting them but I do want to ask have you checked up on them? Have you asked if they are ok? Idk my first thought was maybe they were going through something and are isolating themself
