More context: my birthday was 6 months ago and she swears she’s gonna give me a gift but still hasn’t (just don’t tell me u have a gift then??), asks me for advice & doesn’t listen, overstays her welcome at my house way too often

Please be blunt, literally calm her out and ask for a box of it back make sure to make a list or you’ll never see your stuff and if she doesn’t give it back Venmo request how much it costs

No. If a friendship is one-sided, it’s not a friendship. You’re allowed to prioritize yourself. If you’re not getting anything out of that “friendship”, then it’s just a parasitic relationship.

Literally go to her house and don’t leave until you’ve gotten everything back and then cut her off

I had a similar situation and no you’re no the asshole I would say try to stop hanging out with them and make friends who truly reciprocate the friendship (trust me it feels so much nicer not just constantly helping others but being helped in return)
