It depends on what it is. If any of the opinions dehumanize people or their basic civil rights, they can eat shit.

Friends are people that share the same morality as you, among other things. If your friend wouldn’t defend your values at their cost, they aren’t a friend. Friends are rare these days, even with the same pol opinion, the chances of them being a good friend and also being different politically are very rare, but its possible.
