What music do you study/focus to? Preferably ones that won’t make me sleepy or allow me to drift off

Classical orchestral music or Gregorian hymns

I like listening to stuff my mom listened to when I was growing up like “easy listening” type stuff. Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Jim Croce, and Bob Seger are nice :)

While I appreciate the rec I read that listening to music with lyrics can have be distracting and you won’t retain as much 😅 but maybe I check them out to listen to at other times!

I do like classical music but I feel like it would allow me to get sleepy, are there any artists you’d recommend?

I can’t have lyrics bc I get distracted and focus on the words so these are perfect. Latin hymns r lowkey fire too

Wait so they don’t have any lyrics not even in other languages?

They do have lyrics but they’re all Latin so they honestly blend together. Give Gregorian Chants a try, or if you want some more upbeat classical there’s a lot of metal covers in classical by apocalyptica and others!

Ooo okay I understand! If I need something with no words I like listening to music from a relaxing video game like Animal Crossing or something lol
