As a man I’m really glad that you’ve accepted yourself and are satisfied being single. There are so many people who get into toxic relationships and stay in them just because they’re scared of being alone. Also I want to apologize on behalf of all the men who suck and make dating worse for everyone else; I hope that if you ever decide to date again and meet a good guy that you can brush off the biases and trauma from past experience and treat him with the kindness and respect he shows you

Seconding this, also a man. Gay if it matters. I’m content with being single too, more or less, just because of how impractical it is to date. I can only imagine from a woman’s perspective how it is.

I wouldn’t criticize him. If he’s given up then I’d sympathize with him. I obviously get where he’s coming from. If I’m content alone and I don’t see the benefit from dating all 4 billion men then why does it matter?
