I’m awful at small talk so this is my template: - Compliment them - Ask about the thing you complimented - Find a way to branch into a wider topic from that - Find similarities from there - Discuss a future (“maybe I’ll see you around” or “Yeah let’s chat again sometime” or “Tell me how that goes!”) - End convo
