Traditional is a loaded question. As a christian, there are guidelines that are often misunderstood. Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the Church. Christ died for the church, so husbands are called to be self sacrificing and die to themselves to provide for their family. Wives are called to submit to their husbands. NOTE: This does not validate any abuse in any way, abuse is immoral. The wives submitting to husbands allows husbands to lead righteously.

A house divided cannot stand but also wives are supposed to keep their husbands accountable. In this “traditional” relationship, there is a lot of duty involved. I see this as a healthy thing as long as both people agree on the arrangement.
