i have a bone to pick with doordash. they do this thing where they list recommended tip options which is great but then go & have THIS as the first choice?? especially for an order of this size uk ppl r gonna pick it & thats just horrible for the dasher

This is fucked up but I do also get annoyed when places make the automatic options “22%” “25%” “30%” like let’s be reasonable on both sides

I watch a guy do doordash delivery streams sometimes and it seems pretty rare for people to tip at all

I’ve door dashed for years and I RARELY have people that don’t tip. Usually the big orders are the ones that tip the least or not at all.

I’d also like to add we can usually see if there is a tip or not. It’ll show base pay + the tip. The only times I’ve never been tipped are the people who choose the tip in cash option (I don’t think this is an option anymore). But I’d never take on orders without tips personally. It’s a waste of my time.
