You both met as adults I’m assuming, so I don’t think it’s weird. My husband and I are 6.5 years apart. He was 36 and I was 29 when we met (we’re now 39 and 32). Some people thought it was too age gappy, but most people don’t even blink because we are literally besties and on the same page on pretty much everything. I also think age gaps where the woman is older than the man are not as normalized. Get ready for some people to clown on you for being into cougars and silly sh*t like that.

It’s a decent age gap. As someone who did ten year difference relationship for a little. I’ve learned under 4years is consider “ normal” anything over that I’ve gotten called freak and weirdo.
