**usually** the major problems are dark and bright red is from stuff like hemorrhoids or just pooping too much or eating something that didn't agree with your tummy. Give preparation H a chance but if it's not improving (and it might get itchy as a normal healing phase) make an appointment w Urgent Care or a primary dr when they're open
