Is it bad that my parents being EXTREMELY RELIGIOUS makes me pull away from religion more? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Christian but when they blindly use Christianity and faith but puts no work towards it , it makes me resent both them and religion.

I think I feel bad because I know God is real like I’ve seen Him perform miracles for me. Getting me through an emotionally abusive foster home and everything. But I don’t know, every time I talk to my parents, I have so much resentment

As a Christian, the way to lead others to Christ is NOT to rub it in their faces but to show it through works. Actions over words, words just lead to resentment when overused
