how do i make my brain settle down when i want to sleep, i feel like ive tried everything; melatonin, no phone a while before bed, no food a while before bed, counting sheep, breathing techniques, etc. but my brain won’t shut off

It's really helped me to pick up a sport/exercise as it drains my energy and helps sleep rather then just hobbies or screen time that doesn't require much energy and i'm just left energized when I need to go to bed
